Savor the delightful blend of fresh spinach, aromatic garlic, and gooey mozzarella in these tender meatballs, perfect for any family gathering or cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella over each meatball. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Transfer meatballs to a serving platter and enjoy warm with pasta or crusty bread alongside marinara sauce for dipping.
