- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and egg. Mix until well combined without overmixing.
- 3. Scoop out portions of the mixture (about two tablespoons each) and roll them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4. Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5. While the meatballs are baking, heat up the canned tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in Italian seasoning and let it simmer for about five minutes.
- 6. Once baked, place the meatballs in the sauce and let them soak for five minutes before serving.
