Description

Delicious Beef and Turkey Meatball Subs combine juicy meatballs with melty cheese and zesty marinara, creating a comforting meal perfect for family gatherings or casual dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. While the meatballs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, place several inside each sub roll.
  7. Generously spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
