- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- While the meatballs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
- Once the meatballs are done, place several inside each sub roll.
- Generously spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
