- 1 lb dry-packed scallops
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Peel and devein the shrimp if necessary. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- Sear Your Seafood: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp in a single layer to the skillet. Cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Sear the Scallops: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter if needed. Place scallops in a single layer without crowding them and sear for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Combine Everything: Return shrimp to the skillet with scallops. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over both and gently mix to coat in buttery goodness.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving hot on plates.
