Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls (about one inch in diameter) and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While meatballs are baking, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
