Description

Irresistible Snowy Almond White Chocolate Toffee is a heavenly treat combining crunchy toffee, smooth white chocolate, and nutty almonds. Perfect for sharing or indulging solo, it’s a festive delight!

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Gather a heavy-bottomed saucepan, a wooden spoon, and a lined baking sheet.
  2. In the saucepan, combine unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat. Stir continuously until melted.
  3. Continue stirring until the mixture turns golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Use an instant-read thermometer to check for around 300°F (150°C).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in half of the chopped almonds. Pour onto your prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  5. While still warm, sprinkle white chocolate chips over the toffee and let them sit for about five minutes to melt. Then spread the melted chocolate smoothly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining chopped almonds on top while chocolate is soft. Allow to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.
  7. Once cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces and serve or package as gifts.
