  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup pure honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the slow cooker without further cutting.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well-covered.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for about 6-7 hours or high heat for around 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked through, shred the chicken using two forks right in the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the chicken for added flavor and crunch.
