- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the slow cooker without further cutting.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well-covered.
- Cover and cook on low heat for about 6-7 hours or high heat for around 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked through, shred the chicken using two forks right in the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
- Before serving, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the chicken for added flavor and crunch.
