Description

This easy slow cooker recipe features tender chicken and vibrant vegetables in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce that will make your taste buds sing.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Chop bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil until combined.
  3. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour half of the sauce over the chicken. Top with chopped vegetables and drizzle remaining sauce over everything.
  4. Set your slow cooker on low for about six hours or high for three hours.
  5. About thirty minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  6. Once cooked, serve on plates or bowls and garnish with fresh herbs or sesame seeds if desired.
