- 3/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in half of the caramel sauce into the cookie dough mixture.
- Drop scoops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
- Once out of the oven, drizzle remaining caramel sauce over warm cookies and sprinkle with flaky sea salt as they cool on wire racks.
