  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in half of the caramel sauce into the cookie dough mixture.
  7. Drop scoops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Once out of the oven, drizzle remaining caramel sauce over warm cookies and sprinkle with flaky sea salt as they cool on wire racks.
