Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until frothy (about five minutes).
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Pour in melted butter along with the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth—about eight minutes.
  3. Place your dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size—this usually takes about one hour.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together.
  5. Once your dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle—about half an inch thick.

  7. Roll tightly from one end to another into a log.
