  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm (around 110°F). In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle (approximately 12×18 inches).
  6. Spread melted butter evenly over the rolled-out dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together; sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
  7. Roll up tightly from one long side to form a log shape.
  8. Cut the log into equal slices (about 1 to 1½ inches thick) and place them in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cover and let rise again for another half hour while preheating your oven to 350°F.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. While cooling slightly, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to form a glaze.
  12. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
