- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of flour until well blended.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of the greased baking dish to form a solid crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and remaining flour until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until set but still gooey in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares and serving warm.
