  • 16 oz elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • 8 oz cream cheese (block)
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Optional: garlic powder for seasoning breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot. Add salt generously. Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In your crockpot, combine the cooked macaroni with cubed cream cheese, shredded cheddar (reserve some for topping), butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
