- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (60% cocoa)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Prepare your molds by lining a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in bursts of 30 seconds until melted and smooth, stirring after each burst.
- Spoon about two tablespoons of melted dark chocolate into each mold. Tap the tin on the counter to release air bubbles.
- Chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes or until firm.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave similarly until melted and smooth.
- Stir in peppermint extract once melted.
- Remove molds from the fridge and spoon white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer until filled. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
- Return to the fridge for another 15-20 minutes until set.
- Once set, gently peel away liners from each cup and serve at gatherings or save for a sweet treat!
