Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip (divided)
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter until fully mixed.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of an ungreased baking dish to form a solid crust.
  4. In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in half of the Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
  6. Spread this mixture evenly over the crust.
  7. Whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk in a separate bowl for about two minutes until it thickens.
  8. Pour this pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading gently with a spatula.
  9. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer generously.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  11. Before serving, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for added flair.
  12. Cut into squares and serve cold.
