- 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups Cool Whip (divided)
- 2 cups chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups milk
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter until fully mixed.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of an ungreased baking dish to form a solid crust.
- In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in half of the Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the crust.
- Whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk in a separate bowl for about two minutes until it thickens.
- Pour this pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading gently with a spatula.
- Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer generously.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for added flair.
- Cut into squares and serve cold.
