- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, beat together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about three minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; do not over-mix.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and powdered sugar; mix until creamy.
- Scoop cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets. Create wells in each scoop with your finger or a spoon and fill them with cheesecake mixture.
- Top each filled well with another scoop of cookie dough and drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to plates. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce if desired.
