Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water until dough forms; wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface; fit into a pie pan and crimp edges.
- Prick bottom with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Fold in melted chocolate and chopped pecans.
- Pour filling into the prepared crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
