Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk (warmed to 110°F/43°C)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup Biscoff cookie butter
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Warm one cup of milk to around 110°F (43°C) and pour it into a mixing bowl. Add one packet of instant yeast and let it sit for five minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine four cups of all-purpose flour, half a cup of granulated sugar, and one teaspoon of salt. Add the yeast mixture and half a cup of melted unsalted butter. Mix until it forms a soft dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about five minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough gently. Roll it into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
- Spread one cup of Biscoff cookie butter evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle two tablespoons of cinnamon and half a cup of brown sugar over the Biscoff layer.
- Starting from one end, tightly roll up the dough like a burrito. Slice into equal pieces (about eight).
- Place the cut-side up rolls into a greased baking dish.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
