Description

Indulge in a comforting dish of baked ziti with spinach, featuring layers of tender pasta, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella that will warm your heart and delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked ziti, torn spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the greased baking dish. Layer with some marinara sauce before adding the remaining ziti mixture on top. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with garlic bread or a crisp salad.
