- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add chilled butter and blend until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water gradually until dough forms. Roll out and fit into a pie dish. Trim excess dough.
- In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and flour until evenly coated.
- Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping generously over the apple filling.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 45–50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
