  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust based on apple variety)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add chilled butter and blend until crumbly.
  3. Stir in cold water gradually until dough forms. Roll out and fit into a pie dish. Trim excess dough.
  4. In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and flour until evenly coated.
  5. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust.
  6. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble topping generously over the apple filling.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 45–50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
