- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over two tablespoons of cold water and let it bloom for about five minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and eggnog over medium heat. Stir until well combined and heated through (about five minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add vanilla extract and mix.
- Pour into serving glasses or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or until set.
- Once panna cotta is set, whip heavy whipping cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in freshly grated nutmeg.
