Description

Eggnog Panna Cotta with Nutmeg Whipped Cream is a luscious holiday dessert that blends creamy textures with festive flavors, perfect for celebrating the season with family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over two tablespoons of cold water and let it bloom for about five minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and eggnog over medium heat. Stir until well combined and heated through (about five minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add vanilla extract and mix.
  4. Pour into serving glasses or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or until set.
  5. Once panna cotta is set, whip heavy whipping cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Gently fold in freshly grated nutmeg.
