- 1 lb large shrimp (deveined)
- 1 lb dry scallops
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp and scallops under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Mince the garlic and chop the fresh herbs.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it's sizzling.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about one minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Place shrimp and scallops in the skillet, cooking for about three minutes on each side, or until they are opaque and slightly golden.
- Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the seafood and sprinkle with chopped parsley and thyme. Stir to combine flavors.
- Transfer seafood to plates or a serving platter. Garnish with additional lemon wedges if desired.
