- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Marinate Your Chicken: In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice. Add chicken breasts and coat thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for at least one hour or overnight.
- 2. Preheat Your Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 3. Prepare Your Grill: Lightly oil grill grates with a paper towel dipped in vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- 4. Grill the Chicken: Remove chicken from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place on the hot grill. Grill each side for about 5 to 7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C). Brush with reserved marinade halfway through grilling.
