- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add the milk until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. Carefully fold in the berries.
- Divide the batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before removing from pans.
- In a separate bowl, whip together heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
