Description

This Lemon Garlic Butter Baked Salmon in Foil is a quick, flavorful dish that combines succulent salmon with zesty lemon and aromatic garlic, making it perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil on a baking tray.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the foil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and mix in lemon juice.
  5. Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Fold the edges of the foil tightly around the salmon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C). Carefully unwrap the foil and drizzle with remaining sauce before serving.
