- 4 fresh salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil on a baking tray.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the foil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and mix in lemon juice.
- Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Fold the edges of the foil tightly around the salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C). Carefully unwrap the foil and drizzle with remaining sauce before serving.
