  • 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to about 350°F (175°C).
  6. Carefully add marinated chicken pieces to the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  7. Fry in batches until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 4–6 minutes per batch.
