Indulge in these rich, coffee-infused truffles coated in dark chocolate, offering a delightful experience for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 12 ladyfingers (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 6 oz dark chocolate (melted)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Add half of the cooled espresso and mix until smooth.
  2. Fold in the crushed ladyfingers and remaining espresso until well combined.
  3. Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. After chilling, scoop out about one inch of the mixture and roll into balls between your palms until smooth.
  5. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in cocoa powder.
  7. Place on a plate and refrigerate until set.
