- 1 cup fresh asparagus, chopped
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- 1. Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add seasoned chicken breasts. Sauté for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
