  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sear each side of the chuck roast until browned.
  3. Transfer the seared beef to a slow cooker. Add onions, garlic, brown sugar, beef broth, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and soy sauce.
